One of the things I was looking forward to about starting a book blog was reading more books from my TBR pile. I figured if I had a blog then of course I would want to post a lot of reviews, this would therefore motivate me to read more books right? Don't get me wrong, I read a LOT but as of today I have over 60 eARC books on my Kindle that are waiting to be read and that's not counting all the physical copy books I have yet to read, nor my "want to read" list of books. So, book blog = read more books = post more reviews.....this sounds right, right? Yes, you would think but somehow the opposite is happening!! I've found since starting my blog I'm actually reading less, wait WHAT?!?! Yep, it's true! You see, there's this whole wide world of blogging that I never really knew existed until I became a part of it. It's all so fascinating, and there are so many fabulous bloggers I've met that its become rather addicting! Its like I can't even start my day properly until I've visited all my blog friends to see what they've been reading and posting about and when I find a new blog that I love, OMG I have to go back and read ALL their posts that look even the slightest bit interesting...... I think I've turned into a blog stalker heeheehee.......... So, back to the little problem of my ever expanding TBR pile........ I've been looking into different ways I could help (force!) myself into get this bad boy under control. What I've decided on is the fabulous world of challenges and Read-A-Thons, and not just any challenges but challenges that focus on reading the most amount of books in the least amount of time! I'm a bit of an insomniac who only sleeps about 3-4 hours a night and I'm also severely OCD. Yes I know, my husband IS a lucky man ;) So see, these challenges are the perfect thing for me! Give me some BIG goals with very little time and I'll be all over that shit!! So, without further ado, I give you my "2015 Challenges Page"!.......basically this is just a page where I'll list out the challenges I'm currently participating in or have completed, click on the graphic (button) or link below to see my "goal and progress" posts.
If you've stumbled upon this page and know of any great upcoming challenges that you'd think I'd be interested in then please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear about them :)
